Michele has more than a decade of experience in the private, public and nonprofit sectors. She served in the Obama Administration in various roles, including Acting Chief of Staff at the U.S. Small Business Administration, overseeing the operations and strategic direction of the federal agency.
Before that, Michele was a management consultant at McKinsey & Company and held roles at PricewaterhouseCoopers, Pepsico, and Radius Intelligence, a tech start-up. Michele earned her B.S. from UCLA and her M.B.A from the University of Chicago. She lives in Washington, D.C., with her husband and two daughters.
