Manufacturing Career Pathways Network is a nationwide initiative designed to optimize the manufacturing jobs and workforce system by advancing demand-driven, competency-based career pathways. By taking a network-based approach, we are building a community of organizations critical to making change in the workforce system to strengthen the new and incumbent manufacturing workers.
WHY MCPN?
The manufacturing industry is overwhelmed with an abundance of workforce initiatives, yet there are many islands of excellence in manufacturing talent development. Rather than creating “another initiative” that appears to compete with existing initiatives, Hope Street Group is creating a network that:
- Elevates and scales leading manufacturers’ best practices and programs to strengthen the workforce
- Optimizes the manufacturing jobs system by advancing demand-driven, competency-based practices
- Weaves together the excellent work of employers via a series of curated workshops and connectivity events to advance leading practices
