Byron Auguste is CEO and Co-Founder of Opportunity@Work, a civic enterprise he co-founded aimed at re-wiring the U.S. labor market in ways that enable more Americans to achieve upward mobility in the job market and workplace.
He has served in the White House as Deputy Assistant to the President for Economic Policy and Deputy Director of the National Economic Council and until 2013, he was a senior partner at McKinsey & Company, leading its High Tech Services sector and global Social Sector.
He has also worked as an economist at LMC International, Oxford University, and the African Development Bank, and authored a book on international payments systems. Dr. Auguste earned a B.A. summa cum laude in economics and political science from Yale University and a M. Phil. and D.Phil. in economics from Oxford University.
