28 Mar Teacher Advisory Council Education + Workforce Connections Report
Over several weeks in the fall of 2018 and the winter of early 2019, alumni Teacher Fellows of five Hope Street Group programs — Hawai’i, Kentucky, North Carolina, Tennessee and our inaugural National Teacher Fellowship (circa 2013-2017) — expanded their professional learning networks to include additional stakeholders within P-12 education, as well as individuals influential further down the “cradle through career” continuum, like professionals in higher education, alternative post-secondary training programs, and in many industries of the U.S. workforce.
Members of the Teacher Advisory Council (TAC) conducted one-on-one interviews with more than 50 experts on academic and career readiness, and key findings from these conversations are now released in this report.
