While global free trade could translate into more than $500 billion more in annual income for the US, 48% of Americans believe free trade agreements cause domestic job losses. Hope Street Group supports free trade agreements and believes we have to prepare Americans to compete in a global economy by offering a broader range of occupational skills and a social safety net that enables workers to rebound from temporary setbacks resulting from a changing global marketplace.
